Road Trip: Club HOG XX, West Bend, WI
and Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary,
Milwaukee, WI

These are some of the photos I took when we attended Harley's 100th Anniversary/Club HOG XX in Milwaukee (and West Bend), Wisconsin over Labor Day weekend 2003. I've also got nearly two hours of video but can't post that here for obvious reasons!

This bike was in the parking lot of our hotel. This was as people were entering Veteran's Park well in advance of the concert. The grass was dead before we even got there! We were early enough that we managed to snag a picnic table to sit at!

We piled onto a bus to get to the Harley Experience from Summerfest. What a fun crowd! Chicago Street near the Summerfest grounds. This was early AM, by the time we left that night bikes were parked up the middle of all the streets, too.

Craig Jones performing one of his wild stunts. Craig Jones doing a stoppie--yes, his assistant, "Wing" is dragging his helmet on the ground! You can just make out the sparks.

CrowDog found a buffalo bike! Very appropriate transportation for a full-blooded Oglala. CrowDog tries on a brandy-new bagger at the Harley Experience.

The Harley Experience--the grass took quite a beating, didn't it? Fortunately our timing was right and we got through the displays easily. It was packed by the time we left. Venders row at the House of Harley. There were as many on the other side of the street.

These little people were glued to the dash of a Tour Glide. Aren't they cute? The Milwaukee Art Museum as viewed from the Veteran's Memorial. Note the weenie mobile--a common site for me because I work in Madison, WI.

This bike was parked on Chicago Street. Hey! My bike tank made it to a display of the "greatest HD tanks!"

This bike was gorgeous and painted like one of my favorite animals--a snow leopard! This is a clay prototype of the V-Rod at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Me and a couple of those wild Seattle Cossacks. I'm sitting on Mr. Eady's bike but it didn't get into the picture, unfortunately. This drag bike was incredible. They fired it up and the percussion from the pipes knocked us all backwards nearly off our seats.
