We were fortunate to have a few visitors during the summer and fall of
1998. First, our friends from Canada, Dana and Andrzej came to visit.
This picture shows what I believe heaven to be...a garage full of Harleys!
Don't you agree that it's a lovely view of Dana? (My, isn't that garage
clean???)
This could have been called our "International Summer." Shortly after we bid goodbye to Dana and Andrzej, we were able to see our friends from Italy, Cristiano and Annamaria. We had met them near Rapid City, South Dakota in 1996 when we went to Sturgis. They were staying at the campsite across from ours and we struck up a conversation. Before parting ways, we exchanged e-mail addresses and have kept in constant contact ever since. We were so happy to be able to see them again!

CrowDog and Cristiano at dinner. At this point we were all speaking an odd combination of Italian and English, with lots of hand gestures. Not bad for Crow and me--we don't speak Italian!
Our last visitors were from a great distance. Minnesota! Our friends Pooder
and Judy came to visit and Pooder installed much louder horns on our bikes.
I had loaded film in the camera in preparation for the weekend and never
took even one picture! I guess Judy and I were too busy beading... Yes,
she got me addicted to beadwork. Here's an example!
